Laser head runs into edge when homing.

Problem:

During the homing process, the laser head runs into the edge of the machine making a loud noise. The homing process is not completed.

The laser head fan could also not be spinning.

 

Cause:

The common cause for this is the homing micro-switches are not being detected, causing the machine to run into the edge.

This is normally a result of the FFC not being correctly installed into one or both of its connections.
