When your Emblaser Device is powered on it will automatically perform a homing sequence. If the homing sequence finishes correctly the laser head will come to rest in the rear left corner of the workspace.
The homing sequence can also be started manually from the laser panel within LightBurn.
- Check the connections to the Stepper Motors. Unplug each one and firmly reconnect them.
- Each switch has a hinged metal arm. If an arm is damaged or missing please contact us at the email address at the bottom of this page.
- Check for other obstructions to the Laser Carriage's travel, when possible keep the interior of the Emblaser Core clear of debris and tools etc.
- Confirm that the Gantry is square. This can be done by moving it to the front of the machine and checking that both carriages meet the top panel.
If the gantry does not sit squarely this can prevent the Y limit switch from contacting its homing trigger.
If this issue is present please see the user assembly manual Step 2.25 to correct it.
If you are still experiencing difficulties with the homing process please contact us at email@example.com
