This article will explain how to use the new Focus Calibration Wizard, introduced in LightBurn 0.9.19.
The wizard now includes compensation for differing ‘focus-values’ between the X and Y axis.
X = Horizontal - Y = VerticalCalibration Card
Remove any jobs from the workspace and insure the mats are aligned to the Origin.
From the menu bar within LightBurn, select: Emblaser > Emblaser Setup > Start Focus Calibration
Follow the steps in the Focus Calibration Wizard, being sure to position the Calibration Card on the mats in the center of the workspace. Continue until the calibration pattern has been completed on the card.
Note: The process must be completed on the Calibration Card. Performing the process on material of a different thickness or colour will effect the results.
Enter the values for the thinnest part of both the vertical (Y) and horizontal (X) lines in the correct fields as shown below:
In this example the values would be: Vertical = 0.0 | Horizontal = -6.0
