    Hey Kaylee!

Can you give me a little more info on what version of C2D-L you are running (latest, mac, pc) and whether you are using vtransfer or UGS?

This has been reported happening with UGS and trying to stream large files.

Most customers solve this by using Vtransfer or PicSender.

Check if you have your computer set not to fall asleep and you need to have all your USB Power Management settings disabled also.

Using UGS, C2D-L version is 1.003
I know not of this Vtransfer... what is it? Sounds like it might fix the prob :)

Jeff: not a computer sleeping or USB prob - I'm running off a powered hub due to physical restraints. TY for the suggestions tho :)

Vectric released an update to their software last year. It now comes with a program called Vtransfer which allows you to work directly with the Emblaser from within Cut2D-L.

The update only supports Windows though.

If you  haven't registered your copy of Cut2D-L yet, you will need to do that. Vectric will give you access to their software portal and issue you with a new license for the latest version of the software.

Contact support@vectric.com with your details and current license number.

    thanks,
    Domenic

    Awesome, thankyou!!! :)

Side note: Is it possible to run two copies on the one licence - one for desktop and one for laptop?
It's for the one laser machine, so thought it's worth asking :)

Yes, Vectric allow you to legally install 2 copies of their software as long as they are on computers owned and used by you.
